Will Book D p. 218 Settled accounts of John OVERALL, Guardian to Rebecca WISE and Cephia WISE made 7 November 1849 in the presence of the Guardian and Richard WISE, agent for the two wards per notice and letter filed. The Guardian reports he rec’d under Decree of the Nelson Co. Circuit Court WISE’s Heirs and WISE’s adors. on the 16th September 1844 the following amount as being the whole Estate which came to his hand for his ward $931 and amount on same to ward $12.81 making rec’d for both 16 Sep 1844. A list of expenses accrued for the care of the wards follows and on one of the notes listed is a note from Richard A. WISE. I think the girls mentioned above must have been the children of another Richard WISE, a son of Caleb WISE as I found this deed below in the Bullitt Co. KY Deed Book K: This Indenture made and entered this 4th day of March 1845 between the Heirs of Caleb WISE deceased towit: James SAMUELS and Diana his wife, formerly WISE, William NEWBOULT and Francis his wife, formerly WISE, William W. WISE and Richard WISE, Caleb WISE and Catherine WISE, Rebecca WISE and Cephia WISE the five last named being children and heirs of Richard WISE who was one of the heirs of Caleb WISE dec’d, by William JOHNSON Commissioner to Rowan J. STONER of the other part. Pursuant to a decree of the Nelson Circuit Court in the case of W. W. WISE against the heirs of Caleb WISE dec’d it was ordered and decreed that the land in the Bill mentioned be sold and according to the Commissioners report filed in said cause it appears that Rowan J. STONER became the purchaser of a tract of land lying in the County of Bullitt supposed to contain about one Hundred and Seven acres. William JOHNSON signed at the bottom of the document for the following: James SAMUELS Diana SAMUELS William NEWBOLT Fraces NEWBOLT William W.
