B. WIGGINTON of the first part of Bullitt County except William WIGGINTON and wife Nancy of the County of Spencer and State of Kentucky to Joseph SWEARENGEN of the County of Bullitt and State aforesaid. For and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and ninety Dollars in hand paid do grant bargain and sell a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Bullitt and part of a tract of land belonging formerly to Seth WIGGINTON which part is bounded as follows towit. Beginning at a sugar tree and white Oak in William KINGS original 1000 acre line thence with said line.... to the line of Thos. WIGGINTON....then to the line of Timothy, Nancy and Jane WIGGINTON... then to Valentine KING and wife's corner containing twenty eight and three quarter acre and thirty four acre three tenth poles. WIGGINTON, Thomas WIGGINTON, Sampson WIGGINTON, Perlina KING and Valentine KING her husband, Jane WIGGINTON and Timothy WIGGINTON hereby convey to Barnett WIGGINTON, Jemima STRINGER, Clarkey BARBOR, Thomas MILLS and J. Q. A. HALL the tract of land lying in Bullitt County on which Seth WIGGINTON lived and died consisting of about 107 acres the said tract of land is more particularly described in the deed from said Seth WIGGINTON to us date 7 December 1849 and recorded in Deed Book L in the Clerks office of the Bullitt County Court page 496 nevertheless this Conveyance is made on the condition that the said William WIGGINTON is indebted to the said Barnett WIGGINTON in the sum of $14.54 and to Clarkey BARBEE in the sum of $14.54 and to Jemima STRINGER for the sum of $14.54 payable by notes due in Twelve months of date herewith and the said Nancy WIGGINTON is indebted to the said Clarkey BARBER in the sum of $43.63 due by note payable in Twelve months of date herewith and the said Henry B. WIGGINTON is indebted to the said Barnett WIGGINTON in the sum of $43.63 by note and the said Thomas WIGGINTON is indebted to the said Barnett WIGGINTON for the benefit of the Children of Sophia COLTON (?) in the sum of $43.63 by note and the said Sampson WIGGINTON is indebted to J.Q.A. HALL for the benefit of the children of Ben WIGGINTON Deceased in the sum of $43.63 by note of date herewith and the said Valentine KING is indebted to the said Thomas MILLS in the sum of $43.63 by note of date herewith and the said Jane WIGGINTON is indebted to the said Jemima STRINGER in the sum of $43.63 by note of date herewith and the said Timothey WIGGINTON is indebted to the said Thomas MILLS in the sum of $14.54 and to the said J. Q. A. HALL For the children of Ben WIGGINTON Deceased in the sum of $14.54 and to the said Barnett WIGGINTON for the benefit of Sophia COLTON in the sum of $14.54 by notes of date herewith now this conveyance is to be made to secure the payment of the several sums of money aforesaid and where the said Several Sums of Money are paid then this obligation is void otherwise to remain in full force.
