KY Deed Book B p. 386 Know all men by these presents that I James WITHERS of the County of Stafford and State of Virginia have and by these presents do constitute and appoint William WITHERS of Hardin County in the State of Kentucky my true and lawful attorney for me and in my name to forbid any sale that may be attempted to be made of my negro woman Dinah or her increase now in the possession of my Daughter Sucky FIELDS which said negro Dinah was Loaned by me to my Daughter who is the wife of Henry FIELDS and I do further authorize and empower my said attorney of any sale or dispertion of the said negroes have been or shall hereafter be made other than being kept for the exclusive use of my said Daughter FIELDS and her children to institute a suit or suits in my name for the Recovery of same and to use all other Legal & proper means to retain said woman Dinah and her increase in possession of my said Daughter Suckey for the exclusive and only use of herself and children untill I think proper to require them or authorize some other disposition of them.
