Deed Book D p. 238 NICHOLAS BUCKNER and ELEANOR his wife of the Territory of Missouri of the one part to MARY WELCH of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky of the other part... that for and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred Dollars current money to him in hand paid have granted Bargained and sold a Certain Tract or parcel of Land situate Lying and being in the the said County and State on Knob Creek Containing three hundred and ninety & a half acres being the upper half (on said Creek) of seven hundred and Eighty one acres Conveyed by JOHN RILEY to JOHN COLLETT and of a survey of seven thousand thirty one acres and one Quarter of an acre and in which survey hundred and Eighty acres was sold and conveyed by the Sheriff of Jefferson County to the said NICHOLAS BUCKNER by Deed dated and recorded in the Clerks office of Jefferson County and bounded by the said three Hundred and ninety and a half of the said seven hundred and eighty one acres and thence with a line of the same Crossing Knob Creek...
