Dear Beck
I take the preasant time as an opprotunity of informing you that I am 
tolerable well at this time And I hope when this Comes to hand it will find 
you also well. I would like very much to see you And enjoy your Society once 
more. but I am Afrade that I will not be granted that privilage soon. but When 
We get done killing all the secesh I am Comeing home just as soon as possable 
and then the fun we will have will not be A little We will go to more wedings 
than A few I wish you to remember me until then I hope it will not be long 
until the War is over As there are so many men in the field that Uncle Sam 
cant stand it to pay them I wish he would make hast and pay me as I am out of 
Doe Just now and Cant by any [page ends here RW]
