Wit - Nicholas GENTRY, Benedict (X his mark) MAHORNEY, Harrison BROWN. This deed was proved by the oaths of witnesses Benedict MAHORNEY and Nicholas GENTRY. Recorded Aug 16, 1824. NOTE: Abraham JOBE married Martha FOX, daughter of Philip, on 22 April 1813 in Jefferson Co., KY. They eventually moved to Texas. Page 256. I, William GRANT of B, for $500, have sold to John WHITLEDGE of B, 86 acres on Salt River in B, the same that was conveyed to him by Richard NEWKIRK, bounded by a stone marked WG & IN in William NEWKIRK's line. If sd GRANT pays the $200 with 6% interest to sd WHITLEDGE, then the above property shall again be vested in sd GRANT.
