SIMMONS corner thence with said line S23E 175 ˝ poles to a stone between two hickories, one fallen, corner to Peyton SIMMONS and Charles LEE, thence with LEE’s line S21025’E for 23o 78 poles to a dead Beech corner to LEE in a line of 300 acres formerly conveyed by Patrick MCGEE to Richard SIMMONS, thence which SIMMONS or LEE’s line S67W 14 poles to a stone, corner agreed on between James POPE and Charles LEE, thence S23E45 poles 6 links to a stake at the end of LEE’s plank fence and same course continued 30 links to a stake in the middle of the Shepherdsville road corner agreed on between said LEE and POPE thence with the middle of the road S63 1/4W 40 poles 22 links S72o5W 20 poles N83 ˝ W 26 poles N87o8’W 43 poles 24 links to a stone in the middle of the road in a line of 50 acres conveyed by Patrick MCGEE to Jacob AMBROSE thence with said line N22 for 23oW 220 poles to a stake on the bank of Salt River a small distance above a dead beech and sugartree corner to the above named 50 acres also corner to 100 acres conveyed by FRY to Nathan MILES now Robert SIMMONS’ corner thence same course continued 6 poles to a stake at low water mark thence up the river at low water mark N53 ˝E 70 poles N44 ˝E (?) 74 poles to a stake thence S23E 4 ˝ poles to the beginning containing 228 acres and 14 poles.
