KY Will Book C p. 117 Surveyed for WILLIAM WELCH and NATHAN MILES 390 1/2 acres of land in Bullitt County on Knob Creek it being part of RILEYS 703 1/2 acre survey and bounded by a corner to ISAAC SMITH.. We the undersigned commissioners being called on By order of the Bullitt County Court we proceeded to divide the above mentioned land between WILLIAM WELCH and SAMUEL WELCH sons of JAMES WELCH Dec’d We are of the Opinion that the division line at end of 30 poles splitting the survey through the middle the ------ way will give each one an equal share in quality and quantity. Given under our hands this 3 July 1826. And we have allotted to WILLIAM WELCH that part of the land which lies on the Northwardly side of the survey and reporte by the suveyor (WILLIAM OVERALL) and to SAMUEL WELCH the remainder half.
