A memorial WW-I plaque hangs in the old Bullitt County Courthouse.
It gives recognition to the soldiers of Bullitt Co that lost their 
lives during the first World War. Below is the information inscribed 
on the plaque as it is embellished:

" 1917 - 1918
In memory of the Bullitt County Heroes who gave their lives in the
Great World War.

NOTE: No other inscriptions are on the plaque. It is made of bronze and has 
been hanging in the same place since I can remember.  The new courthouse annex
is now across the alley and all the county business is mostly conducted there.
