The largest coffin on record was made by L. M. Parrish and son, 
undertaker at Mt. Washington, Bullitt Co, KY, for Miss Sallie Harris of 
that vicinity. March 8th 1873. The coffin measured at the top inside 7 
ft. 2 inches, width of ends 10 inches, width at break 2 ft 7 1/2 
inches, depth of sides 18 inches, depth under the break 2 feet.
