Some have been plowing. Ole man winter stopped that when he came with snow flurries Friday. Mr and Mrs L.W. NICHOLS spent Sunday afternoon with Mr and Mrs Charles RIDGEWAY and family. Mr and Mrs. Raymond MATTINGLY, Jo Ann MATTINGLY, and Eunice RIDGEWAY spent the weekend with their parents, Mr and Mrs Elmer RIDGEWAY. Mr Roy APPLEGATE was out Saturday, selling war bonds, did you see him? If not, you go see him and buy a bond. Our boys will know that their loved ones haven't forgotten them. Mr and Mrs L.W. NICHOLS spent awhile Saturday night with Mr and Mrs Cornell LOGSDON and daughter. Mrs Frank FRIEBERT of Louisville spent the weekend with her parents, Mr and Mrs W. B. NICHOLS. Mrs Helen MONROE and little granddaughter, Darlene SIPES, spent Tuesday in Louisville, while there they visited a studio, and Darlene's picture was taken. Estel Lee MCNUTT returned to Great Lakes Training Station after visiting his mother, Mrs Florence MCNUTT. Bro. MILLER filled his appointment at Knob Creek Sunday. He took dinner with Mrs Martha FOSTER. Mrs Edwin Roberts of West Point spent Thursday Night with her father, Mr James HOPEWELL. We are glad to know that Mrs Nancy HOPEWELL is recovering from the flu.
