Mt. Washington seeks to prevent small pox epidemic Mt. Washington, KY Feb, 24. This community had quite a scare last week when Dr. FURNISH called to see Dr. L. S. SETTLe who had been ill for several days and pronounced his illness, small pox., It is hoped it will not spread thru the town and school as the teachers, pupils and a number of others have been vaccinated, and every precaution should be used in hindering this disease in its hold on our community. There has been no other case reported up to date, but, because of the chance of it spreading, the Eastern Star has postponed the play, indefinitely that was to have been given next Saturday night.
