Emery L. BENTLY, Jr., 65, of Shepherdsville, died on Saturday June 24, 200.  He was a U.S. 
Army veteran and retired from Ford after 21 years of emplyment.  He was a member of Bethel 
Misionary Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Emery and Clara Holbrook 
Bentley, Sr.  He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Day Bentley; one son, Roger Bentley; two 
sisters, Lizzie Mae Wright and Gladys Aldridge, both of Mayking, Ky.; two grandchildren, 
Adam Bentley and Tiffanie Edwards.  

Funeral services were held on Monday, Jun 26, at Schoppenhorst Neurath & Brooks Funeral Home 
in Pioneer Village with Bro. Floyd Spears and Bro. Sonny Mull officiating.  

Funeral services will also be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28, at Everidge Funeral 
Home in Whitesburg with Bro. Bill Craft officiating.  Burial will be in the Holbrook Family 
Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Spears, Adam Bentley, Mack Day, Merle Holbroke, 
Jason Edwards and Chris Albright.
