Subject: obit - Briscoe - May 16 1939

Mrs. Nell Briscoe wife of Will H. Briscoe, a well known and greatly beloved woman of near Fairfield passed 
away at her home Saturday morning after a long illness.
     She is survived by her husband, two sons, William S. of Chicago and Jack of near Waterford, two 
granchildren, two brothers Messrs. Will and Ed Browne and a sister Mrs. Will Chester of Louisville.
     Funeral service was conducted at the residence Monday by Revs. Pound and Drake was followed by 
interment in Mt. Washington Cemetery.
     The Taylorsville Chapter conducted the Eastern Star funeral ceremony at the grave.
