Sammie Lee Brooks, 43, of Louisville, died Wednesday, July 24, 2002, at his residence. Mr. 
Brooks was a shipping clerk for the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. He is survived by his mother, 
Betty Randles; a brother, James W. Brooks; and his best friend, Gary Snelling. He is also 
survived by many other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Funeral services will be at 
10 a.m. on Monday at Neurath & Underwood Funeral Home, 725 E. Market St., with burial in St. 
Michael's Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
