Jeffersontown Ex-Mayor is Dead at 78.  Mrs. Ida S. BURDON, former mayor of 
Jeffersontown and member of the Town Council during the 1940s, died at 3:30 p.m., 
yesterday at St. Joseph Infirmary.  Mrs. BURDON, who lived in Jeffersontown, was a 
Sunday School teacher for many years at the Fisherville Church of Christ.  She was 78.

Survivors are a sister, Mrs. John Clark CARRITHERS, Taylorsville, Ky.; a brother Louis 
SNYDER, Louisville, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow at Fisherville Church of Christ with burial in 
Valley Cemetery, Taylorsville.  The body is at the residence.
