Alice (black) 1 year 5months, female, single born and resided on Cane Spring.   She died on 
Cane Spring 1855. Slave Owner:  George W. WELLER

Basil (black) 7 months female, born, resided and died on Cedar Creek 2/1/1855  of fever.

Letter to James Burch in TX, from Levi Magruder of Bullitt Co., KY - Aug 31, 1856--
writes that since he last wrote- Levi lost a negro girl abt. 13 years of age, and , "one of 
my negro women is also very bad with typhioid fever."
