Mrs. Cunningham Passed Away at Home of Daughter Had Been In Ill Health Many Months Mrs. Amelia Cunningham, widow of the late James Cunningham passed away Tuesday, January 18th at the home of her son in law, Mathis Rogers of Taylorsville. Early in life she accepted Christ as her Savior and became a member of King's Baptist Church. She loved her church and was an active member of the Sunday School as long as she was able to attend. She was a Christian character, a kind and generous neighbor and will be sadly missed by her acquaintances. She was survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mathis Rogers, four sons: Byron, Edgar, Quinton, and Coleman Cunningham; fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild;several nieces, one nephew and a host of friends. The funeral was conducted at King's Baptist Church Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, by her former pastor, Rev. W. E. Pound. Interment was in King's Cemetery. Mrs. Mathis Rogers is Lena Bell Cunningham.
