Ned DICKINS, an employee in the County clerk and County tax commissioner's offices for 
more than 16 years, died yesterday at his home on Rosemont Avenue, near Jeffersontown.

DICKINS, 74, had been ill about two years.  In his younger days he played professional 
baseball in the Cotton States League.  He also played semi-professional baseball here.
His wife, Mrs. Wilella HOKE DICKINS, survives.

The funeral is set for 2 p.m. tomorrow at Myers' Funeral Home, Jeffersontown. 
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
