Everett L. Dillander Sr., 83, Shepherdsville, died Sunday at Audubon Regional Medical 
Center. He was a native of Hardin County, a retired farmer and a Baptist. Survivors: 
two daughters, Carol Klapper of Shepherdsville and Audrey Christian; three sons, 
Russell Dillander of Taylorsville, Everett L. Dillander Jr. of Fontana, Calif., and 
Bill L. Dillander of Thornton, Colo.; a stepson, Leon Elliott of California; a 
stepdaughter, Judy Elliott of Long Beach, Calif.; a brother, Herbert Dillander of Fort 
Wayne, Ind.; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday, 
Hardy-Close Funeral Home, Shepherdsville. Burial: Mount Eden Cemetery, near 
Shepherdsville. Visitation: 4-9 p.m. Monday, 9:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. 
Wednesday. Memorial gifts: Hospice of Louisville.
