Dr. T. J. TICHENOR, 65 Spencer County, dies Taylorsville, KY Nov 18, (1934 hand written beside article) Dr. Thomas J. TICHENOR, 65 years old, died yesterday at his home at Waterford. He had arisen early to attend to some business. When he returned home he complained of feeling ill and went to bed. His wife left the room to see about breakfast and upon her return she found he had died. He is survived by his wife, a daughter Mrs. Charles BOONE of Shively, a son, Rouse TICHENOR of Solitude a sister Mrs. Nick GENTRY of Jeffersontown 3 brothers, Charles, George and Nick. Funeral Services will be held in the Waterford Baptist Church Burial Valley Cemetery. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Sunday our town (written in 1948) was shocked by the sudden death of James C. GENTRY (Buddy). His health had been declining for sometime. His wife, Mrs.. Zella Bell GENTRY, survives, with no other close relatives. He was prominent in Business, social and church circles. Funeral service will be hlep Wednesday at 3pm by his pastor, Rev. Noah BENNINGFIELD, at the Baptist Church. The Masons will have charge of service. Washington< KY also several cousins remains at the residence, where funeral services will be held Wednesday 9/1/ 2 o'clock, interment Mt. Washington Cemetery.
