Funeral services were held at Immanuel Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. and Masonic services were conducted by S.M.Harris at the local Baptist Church at 4 p.m. Mr. Ellaby was a loyal Mason, member of the Salt River Lodge. He was a former resident of our community, and was the eldest son of the late William Ellaby and wife. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ida Ellaby, three sons; Charles, Adolph and John; two daughters, ...Early Deckman and Mrs. Z... Ruth Luhr; one stepdaughter, ...Viola Shepherd, several grandchildren, one half-sister, Mrs. C.F. Jasper, Jeffersontown and one half brother, W.D. Ellaby; also survived by 3 sons, J.W. of Indianapolis, Ind.; Calvin of Louisville, Ky.; and Wyble Ellaby of Evansville, Ind.; sister-in-law, Mrs. James Rouse, Bardstown, Ky.; 2 nephews and 4 nieces. Mrs. Ellaby will be at McFarlane's Funeral Home, Mt. Washingon, Ky. Funeral services from the chapel Saturday, June 19 at 3:00 D.S.T. interment in Mt. Washington Cemetery.
