ELLABY, in connection with his brother has driven the wagon for serveral years, bringing country produce down and taking groceries back to the store, which his brother owns in Mt. Washington. Yesterday about 11 o;clock he put on some screen doors at NOELLINGS store, on Shelby and Broadway. He was on top of the wagon trying a rope around the screens to hold them when his foot slipped and he fell to the street, his head receiving the full force of the fall. He was carried into NOELLING's. Blood was running from his mouth and ears, and it was throught that he was dead. Dr. SCHACKNER was called and managed to revive him a little. However about 5 o'clock in the afternoon he lost consciousness, and remained so until he died at 7 o'clock in the morning. Young ELLABY was 21 years of age and one of the most splendid specimens of manhood in the state, and was by far the strongest man in Spencer County. His father J. T. ELLABY, is magistrate in the Mt.
