FOX, died at her home in Mt. Washington last Sunday of heart disease. With her husband she was entertaining some friends when she excused herself and went into another room where she was found dead an hour later by her husband who had become alarmed at her absence. On monday her remains were laid to rest in the Mt. Washington cemetery after services at the M. E. church conducted by Rev Lucy, her pastor. Her remains were borne to the grave by six nephews, Bert HALL, Hal HALL, Tom HALL Will HALL, Sam FOX and W.J. FOX. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. Mrs. FOX had been a member of the Methodist church for more than 50 years, having joined before she was sixteen. She was a teacher in the Sunday School for many years, and the great crowd of sorrowing relatives and friends who attended the funeral service bore testimony of the high esteem in which she was held. She was one of natures noblewomen. She was a true affectionate wife, a kind and loyal friend, and a thoughtful and generous neighbor. She was loved by all who knew her, and her presence will be missed in Mt.Washington for many long years..Everyone sympathises with the husband who has been left alone by the loving companion with whom he had traveled so far on life's rugged highway. He more than others will miss her bright smiles and words of comfort, and as the shadows deepen about him, and life's sun sinks nearer to the western horizon, he will miss her more and more. May the Great Comforter console him until that day when they shall meet beyond the smiling and the weeping.
