FOX who was employed as yard switchman at the L. and N. yards, met with an accident which cost him his life. At the time of the accident he was engaged in coupling cars, and some way fell under the wheels. Both legs were crushed close up, and the poor fellow died about two hours afterwards at the Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. Dr. Geo. W. GRIFFITHS and Dr. CUMMINS amputated the limbs, but the man never rallied from the terrible shock. His remains were taken charge of by WYATT, the undertaker, and were sent to his home at Belmont, Bullitt county. FOX was twenty years of age, and had been working at the yards for about a year. Coroner MILLER will hold an inquest today.
