She was the former Joyce Clan, a native of New Hope Ky., and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil B. Clan; one son, Gerald Ray Fick; and one brother, Darrell Clan. She is survived by her husband Gerald Fick of Mount Washington; her mother Alice Clan of New Hope; two sons, Daniel Fick of Louisville and Ronnie Fick of Cox's Creek; one daughter-in-law, Kim Fick of Cox's Creek; five sisters, Janie Hardin of Mount Wshington, Patty Salmon of Leithfield, Delores Blair and Libby Vititow, both of Louisville; and Susie Clan of Shepherdsville; three brothers, Jimmy Clan of Bardstown, Kenny Clan of New Hope and Wayne Clan of Sonora; two grandsons, Ronald T. and Shawn Fick, both of Cox's Creek and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday Sept. 14, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Mount Washington with the Rev. Scott Wimsett officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mount Washington.
