    Carlos Alford HIGDON, 56, of Lebanon Junction, died on Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at 
University of Louisville Hospital.  He was a native of Hardin County, a truck driver and a 
mechanic.  
    He is survived by his wife, the former Lola K. Richardson of Lebanon Junction; one son, 
Jerome Higdon of Lebanon Junction; three daughters, Kathy Carter of Boston, Ky., Robin 
Townsend and Shauna Higdon, both of Lebanon Junction; one brother, George Higdon of 
Glendale; five sisters, Marcie Brown of Brownsville, Fla., Sylvia Greely of Sacramento, 
Calif., James Hughes of Vine Grove, Bertha Parrett and Norma Jean Lee, both of 
Elizabethtown; and eight grandchildren.
    A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon 
Junction was in charge of arrangements.
