Ronald H. HICKMAN, Sr., 73 year old carpenter who helped build many of Frankfort's 
large whisky warehouses; died this morning at his home, 2814 Hale.  A native of 
Waterford, Ky.  Mr. HICKMAN followed the carpentry trade for more than 30 years.  He 
retired about a year ago.

He wa survived by five sons, Ronald B. HICKMAN, Jr., of New Albany, Darold, B. 
HICKMAN, of Attleboro, Mass., James E., William K. and M. Brent HICKMAN all of 
Louisville; a sister, Mrs. Josie McARTHUR, and five grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 2611 
Virginia Avenue.  He wlll be buried in Valley Cemetery, Taylorsville, Ky.
