He was a native of Jefferson County, owner of Bill Heath's Plumbing Co., a Navy veteran and a member of Bullitt Lick Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Adgaline Coy; three daughters, Patricia Maiden of Horse Branch, Brenda Greenwell of Shepherdsville and Alisha Knight of Louisville; two sons, Charles W. Heath Jr. of Tampa and Ronald W. Heath of Shepherdsville; one sister, Ruby Friend of Louisville; a half-brother, Samuel Heath of Ackerley, Iowa, 17 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 21, at Bullitt Lick Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in Mount Eden Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Bishop, Shirley Huff, Billy French, George Presley, Thomas Skidmore and Hilbert Mayes. Visitation will be at Hardy-Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. until 9 p.m., on Thursday and after 9 a.m. on Friday.
