Former Bullitt County judge and sheriff, Robert E. McAFEE, 68, Mt. 
Washington, died yesterday at St. Anthony's Hosp.  He was sheriff from 1930 
until 1938 when he was elected judge.  He retired from public office at the 
completeions of his term in 1942.

Mr. McAFEE was a director of the People's Bank, Mt. Washington.  Surviving, 
wife, Mrs. Mabel McAFEE, sons, Harris of Cincinnati, Wade of Taylorsville, 
Ward Hill of Louisville, Maurice and R. Lee McAFEE both of Mt. Washington. 
duaghters Mrs. Barney SPURR, Beuechel and Mrs. Edward POUND, Mt. Washington, 
13 grandchildren.  Services 2pm tomorrow, Mt. Washington, Methodist Church: 
town cememtery.
