Ex-Bullitt Judge McAFEE Expires

Former Bullitt County judge and sheriff, Robert E. McAFEE, 68, Mt. Washington, died 
yesterday at St. Anthony's Hospital.  He was sherriff from 1930 until 1938 when he was 
elected judge.  He retired from public office at the completion of his term in 1942. 

Mr. McAFEE was a director of the People's Bank, Mt. Washington.  Surviving, wife Mrs. Mabel 
McAFEE, sons, Harris of Cincinnati, Wade of Taylorsville, Ward Hill of Louisville, Maurice 
and R. Lee McAFEE both of Mt. WAshington. daughters Mrs. Barney SPURR of Buechel and Mrs. 
Edward POUND, Mt. Washington, 13 grandchildren, services 2pm tomorrow, Mt. Washington 
Methodist Church, town Cemetery. (this would be Mt. Washington Cemetery.)
