Mudd, 79, Mount Washington, died Sunday at Baptist Hospital East. He was a native of Bullitt County, a retired mechanic for Bullitt County Road Department, and a member of Riverview Baptist Church. Survivors: his wife, the former Margie Jackson; four daughters, Connie Hambleton and Betty Samuels, both of Mount Washington, Mary Wegger of Elgin, Okla., and Sheila Calvert of Shepherdsville; two sons, Jamie Mudd of Shepherdsville, and David Mudd of Lebanon Junction; his mother, Myrtle E. Mudd of Coxs Creek; three sisters, Alice Mudd and Bonnie Ashbaugh, both of Coxs Creek, and Mary Catherine Phelps of Leawood, Kan.; a brother, Ivan Mudd of Shepherdsville; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday, McFarland-Troutman Funeral Home, Mount Washington. Burial: Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation: 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday.
