Mrs. Lilberne Maraman, wife of Roy Maraman, died at her home Wednesday, May 1, at 4 a.m. 
after a brief illness.  She had been in failing health for several months. She was married 
to Mr. maraman in 1941 and since making her home in Shepherdsville had made many friends by 
her friendly personality and was a real partner with her husband in his business as a 
mortician.  Mrs. Maraman is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Hassee Parrish; one brother,
Shirley Parrish; three sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Barnes, Edna Hall, all of Mt. Washington, and 
Sally Wilhite, Fairfield, and several nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives.  
Funeral services were held here at the Methodist Church by Rev. Bruce Hartsell and Rev. K.R. 
Dillon with interment in the local cemetery.
