Welsh Maurice Randall NOE, 63, of LaGrange, died on Friday, Feb. 26, 1999, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He was a native of Bullitt County, a retired cabinetmaker and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by one son, Douglas NOE, one daughter, Lisa NOE; four brothers, Jay and Marvin NOE of Shepherdsville, Charlie NOE of Louisville and Acey NOE of Hillview; three sisters, Ann ANDERSON and Alma Jean TWYMAN, both of Jeffersonville, Ind., and Juanita KULINA of Ohio; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 1, at Shepherdsville Gospel Chapel with Bro. Al EARLY and Bro. George BLEVENS officiating. Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Eddie NOE, Rodney NOE, Chuck NOE, Dale NOE, Victor NOE and Jeffrey NOE. He was a native of Bullitt County, a self-employed mechanic and co-owner of Brooks Station Truck Repair. He was an Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, the former Linda Gail Coy; two daughters, Kimberly Marsh of Shepherdsville and Stacey Huey of Mount Washington; three sons, Maurice, Jeffrey and Gregory Noe, all of Louisville; three sisters, Alma Jean Twyman, Anna Lee Anderson and Juanita Kulina; two brothers, Marvin and Newton Noe, both of Shepherdsville, and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 15 at Handy-Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with the Rev. Bazel Baker officiating. Burial was in Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington. Pallbearers were Jim March, Bill Holland, Ronnie Coy, Gary Coy, Roger Irvin and Ray Tondre. Noe, 66, of Radcliff, formerly of Bullitt County, died Wednesday May 2 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was the former Opal Bishop and a member of the Pentecostal church. Survivors: her husband, Elmer L. Noe; sons Elmer and Royce Noe; daughters Tina Walker, Mary Hartley, Terry Johnson and Kathy Emrick; sisters Shirley Grassi and Mary E. Durr; a brother, Thomas Bishop; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday, Hardy-Close, Shepherdsville. Burial: Mount Eden Cemetery, Shepherdsville. Visitation: 5-9 p.m. Friday, 9:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and after 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Memorial gifts: the family, c/o the funeral home.
