LOUISVILLE-AREA DEATHS

Virgie Reatha Newton, 59, died Friday at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
She was the former Reatha Noe, a native of Bullitt County and a member of Open Door 
Assembly Pentecostal Church in Elizabethtown.  Survivors: a daughter, Wanda Newton; a 
son, Dale Paulley; stepsons Terry, Jerry, Bobby, Glendal and Bud Newton; stepdaughters 
Gladys Hornback,  Carolyn Browned, Consula Leary and Inas Childress; sisters Betty 
Shepherd and Virginia Ryan; a brother, Elmer Noe; and several grandchildren.   
Funeral: 11 a.m. Sunday, HardyClose, Shepherdsville. Burial: Mount Eden Cemetery, near 
Shepherdsville. Visitation: 9:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and after 9 a.m. Sunday.
