Loyd Owen, wife of Richard F. Owen, born March 20, 1870 died June 22, 1933. She leaves to mourn her loss, a husband, three sons, Leonard, Allie, and Paul Owen, one daughter, Mrs. Auburn Cox (Ruth), two brothers, Mr. John Loyd, Mr. Nick Loyd, five sisters, Mrs. Oscar Owen, Mrs. Fannie Hall, Mrs. Rastus Bell, Mrs. Sallie Stallins, Mrs. Mollie Bridwell. Pallbearers were Fred, Herman, and Edward Owen, Dorsey Hall, Claud and Caperton Loyd. Her home going we have suffered the loss of one the Lord's choicest spirits and a dear understanding friend that we shall cherish the memory of one who has endeared herself to all who have labored with her and enjoyed the blessings of her friendship. We extend our sincere sympathy to the family in their bereavement and commend them to the heavenly father, who wil comfort them. Bro. Cundiff conducted the funeral at the home and her remains were laid to rest in Bethel Cemetery. No date, no newspaper name...Lula is my great-grandmother...her son Paul is my grandfather...does anyone know who Fred, Herman and Edward Owen are???...also, who are Claud and Caperton Loyd????
