And she in His wisdom was called, The boon her love had given, And though on earth her body lies, Her soul is safe in heaven. Why should we mourn departed ones, Or shake at death's alarm ? 'Tis true the voice that Jesus sends To call her to His arms. 'Tis true VINIA will suffer no more,   She has gone where there is no pain With us a loss, And her a gain. Her little children will miss her, too, Miss her tender love and care; And looking to heaven may ask: Will we find our mother there ? How sweet 'twill be to tell them, As you press them to your breast, That mother is not dead, But simply gone to rest.         A Friend DEATH OF MRS. VINIA PUGH Mrs. Vinia PUGH, wife of Marion PUGH died in Louisville June 21, after a long illness of consumption. Mrs. Pugh was fifty-one years of age and an affectionate wife a devoted mother a loving sister and a good neighbor. She will be greatly missed by husband, children and sisters. She was the mother of ten children nine of whom survive her. Mrs. PUGH before her marriage was Miss Vinia MUDD. Everyone who knew loved her. Her body was taken to Belmont and laid to rest in the cemetery to await the resurrection morn.
