His residence was Mt. Washington, KY. He was the beloved husband of Eva Ray McAFEE POUND, the devoted father o fMrs. Joe Duvall, Mrs. Harold Shaw, Mrs. Fred Siler, Eddie Ray, and Robert Thomas Pound. the brother of Mrs. Wanda Haynes, Cecil, J. T., Clinton Pound and the nephew of Mrs. Ethel Gentry, he is also survived by 8 grandchildren. The funeral was held Monday, August 7 at McAFee Mt. Washinton Funeral Home. by Rev. Chester Deacon of Mt. WAshington United Methodist Church. Interment was in the Mt. Washington Cemetery from local paper 8/1977 Victim of accident Edward Ray POUND, 25, died instantly in an automobile accident Monday night, 11:50. The accident occured at the curve near Thixton Lane on Highway 31E. He was employed at Montgomery Chevrolet on Preston Highway. He is survived by his mother Mrs. Eva Ray Pound, sisters, Mrs. Doris Duvall, Mrs. Phyllis Shaw, both of Mt. Washington, Mrs. Kathryn Siler of Bardstown, one brother Robert Pound nine nieces and nephews. The body in at the McFarland Troutman Funeral Home, Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 am Burial will be in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.
