Susie Mae PARRISH was born September 1, 1905, died May 27, 1927, age 21 years, 8 
months and 26 days. She united with the Methodist Church in her childhood and remained 
a member until death.  She was a girl that enjoyed life and always seemed to have a
good time wherever she was and her one ambition, after being confined to her bed, was 
to get well, but a holy and righteous God deemed otherwise and she had to answer the 
summons, as you and I will soon have to do. She is survived by father, mother, two 
brothers and grandmother, Mrs. Mary A. HARRIS, and a great host of friends.
Her funeral was conducted at the Methodist church at Mt. Washington, by her pastor and 
she was laid to rest in the Mt. Washington Cemetery to await the resurrection of the 
dead.
