V." SHAW, 71, of Shepherdsville, died Friday at Humana Hospital-Audubon. He was a native of Bullitt, County, a retired electrician for Louisville & Nashville Railroad Co., an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Davidson Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors: his wife, the former Evelyn Adams of Shepherdsville; a son, John T. Shaw of Shepherdsville; a sister, Rena Crenshaw of Shepherdsville; and a granddaughter. Funeral: 11 am Monday, Maraman Funeral Home in Shepherdsville, with burial in Hebron Cemetery near there. Visitation from 11 am to 9 pm Saturday and Sunday. WILL SHAW Mrs. Will Shaw of near Lotus died at Baptist Hospital Wednesday night, where she underwent an operation for appendicitis and took pneumonia. She leaves a husband and several children. Mrs. Shaw, wife of Will Shaw, who live near Deatsville, but in Bullitt County died in Louisville Thursday, Feb. 23rd of pneumonia. Mrs. Shaw is survived by a large devoted family of children, one of which is a former teacher of this county. Mr. Shaw was a member of the County School Board for several years and is one of our most substantial citizens. No year given.
