Scott Sr., 100, Shepherdsville, died Tuesday at St. Anthony Medical Center. He was a native of Bullitt County, a retired carpenter and a member of Salt River Masonic Lodge 180 in Mount Washington. Survivors: a son, Basil D. Scott Jr. of Shepherdsville; a daughter, Beatrice Freibert of Shepherdsville; a brother, Earl Scott of Mount Washington; a sister, Adelia Owen of Mount Washington; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Friday, Bethel United Methodist Church near Mount Washington, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens there.
