Her death brought sorrow to many. Most of her life was spent in this community and her friends were in great number. The former Prudence WELLER, she was the daughter of Luther and Amanda WELLER. In early life she was married to Embra DEACON and to this union four sons were born: Millard, Samuel, Edward and Robert. In later years she was married to Wayne STONE. She was a member of Shepherdsville Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, and Amaranth Lodge of Cupio Court No. 10. Surviving her are Millard, of LaGrange; Samuel, of Louisville and Edward, of Shepherdsville; one sister, Maud SMITH, of Louisville; two brothers, Marvin WELLER, of Louisville and Will WELLER, of Shepherdsville; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. Her memory will be long cherished by those who loved her. Mrs. STONE was taken to the Roy L. Maraman Funeral Home until services at the Shepherdsville Methodist Church, Sunday, September 13th, at 2:00 p.m., conducted by Rev. A. L. FRASER. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
