       The funeral for J. Coleman Showalter, Sr., 80, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at 
McFarland Funeral Home, Mount Mashington.  Burial will be in Mount Washington Cemetery.
Showalter, an assistant funeral director at the home, died at 5:23 p.m. Sunday at Jewish 
Hospital after a heart attack Friday .

Showalter, Mr. J. Coleman, Sr. (Pop) age 80 years, Sunday, January 19, 1953 at 5:20 p.m., at the Jewish 
Hospital, Residence, 1440 Catalpa St., Louisville and Mt. Washington, Ky.  Devoted father of Mr. J.C. 
Showalter Jr., Detroit, Mich.; also survived by 2 daughters in law, Mrs. Bessie Showalter and Mrs. 
Elizabeth Nelson, both of Louisville; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  Mr. Showalter will be at 
McFarland's Funeral Home, Mt. Washington, Ky.  Funeral services from the chapel Wednesday, january 
22nd at 2 o'clock.  Interment Mt. Washington cemetery.
