Beloved husband of Mrs. Margaret (Maggie) TINSLEY (nee GENTRY) devoted father of Mrs. Gillbert (Vivian) CRENSHAW, Roy and Ray TINSLEY also survived by 4 sisters, Mrs. Annie BADGETT, Mrs. May TYLER, Mrs. Myrtle POUND, Mrs. Fred GENTRY, 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, Services for Mr. TINSLEY will be conducted from his residence Friday afternoon, March 19 at 2 o'clock and at Kings Baptist Church at 230 o'clock. Interment in KINGS Cemetery. Jas. GENTRY, Carrithersville, December 27, (no year listed) Mr. James GENTRY, age 83 passed away Wednesday, December 22, after a long illness at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Tom TINSLEY. His funeral was conducted at Kings Baptist Church, where he has been an elder for a number years. Rev. W. E. POUND conducted the services assisted by Rev. MILLER, his pastor, and Rev. WRIGHT of Jefferstown. He leaves to mourn his loss five children, Mr. F. L. GENTRY, Mr. Nick GENTRY, Mrs. FLora WALKER, Mrs. Daisy CARRICO, and Mrs. Maggie TINSLEY, with whom he made his home. several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
