Marriage Bond

BABBITT; JOHNSON; SANDERS; CANFIELD; MEYLER 

THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY

Be it known, that we J. A. BABBITT as principal and  ___[not filled]__ 
as Surety, are jointly and severally bound to the Commonwealth of 
Kentucky  in the sum of One Hundred Dollars.

The Condition of this Bond is as follows:

That, whereas Marriage is intended to be solemnized between the above 
bound 
J. A. BABBITT and Mary Jane JOHNSON
Now, if there is no lawful cause to obstruct said Marriage, this Bond 
shall be void, otherwise it shall remain in full force and effect.

Dated at Shepherdsville Bullitt County, this 30 day of March 1874

	This is to Certify, that on the 31st day of March 1874 the RITES OF 
MATRIOMONY were legally solemnized by me between J. A. BABBITT and Mary 
Jane JOHNSON at Geo. N. SANDERS house in the County of Bullitt in the 
presence of Geo. N. SANDERS & his wife Mary SANDERS
