This is to certify, that on the 26th day of May 1877 the Rites of Matrimony, were 
legally solemnized by me between Patrick Miles and Anna Bell Sheckles at Wm James in 
the County of Bullitt in the presence of Hardin Briscoe and Susan Briscoe

HANDWRITTEN NOTE ATTACHED TO THIS MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE

Patrick Miles states that on the 29th day of May 1870 he was married to Bell Samuels, 
and that about one year thereafter she abandoned him, and he has not heard from her 
since and does not know where she is, nor whether living or not.
