Washington was solemnized at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, (1935) at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry M. Harris, In Buechel. Miss Mattie Harris was her sister's maid of honor and Mr. William (F.) Porter was his brother's best man. The bride wore a raspberry blistered crepe and carried a couquet of white chrysanthemums. The maid of honor wore a royal blue blistered crepe and carried a bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums. Mr. and Mrs. Porter left after the ceremony for Owensboro and Henderson. They will make their home in Mt. Washington.
