What a treasure of a document. The widow looks like Pamelia in this rather than Pamela so in the will I may have missed a letter. I don't see an " r" in there for her to be Parmelia / Permelia. Bullitt County Will Book C p. 284 On motion of Jacob W. and George W. BOWMAN, Exor's of Jacob BOWMAN dec'd ordered that Archibald MAGRUDER, Robert BRASHEAR, Preston N. HORNBECK and John S. THIXTON or any three of whom being first sworn be and they are hereby appointed appraisors to appraise in current money the personal estate and slaves if any of said decedent, and make report thereof to Court agreeably by law.
