KY Will Book B p. 470 I JESSE CHAPPELL of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky being in sound body mind and memory and calling to mind the uncertainty of life and wishing to dispose of all my worldly effects with which it has pleased God to bless me with do make and establish this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills made by me. And first after my death I desire that I may be intered in a decent and Christianlike manner and after my funeral expenses and all my just debts is paid I give and bequeath the balance of my estate as follows. First I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife MARTHA CHAPPELL all of my estate real and personal for her own use and benefit without interruption during her life time or widowhood. And then at her death or marriage I desire that all my estate real and personal may be sold and proceeds thereof to be divided equally among my children and also my gran daughter ARTIMECIA LUNSFORD with them.
