I Elizabeth CLEVIDENCE being old and frail and knowing that I have to die, and being now of sound mind, wishing now to give and bequeath my little property in the way hereinafter named. After my just debts are paid, and my body decently buried, I commit my soul to God that gave it. Item 1. I now wish to give and bequeath to Louisa and Polly NEWKIRK my small trunk and twenty-eight dollars that is in said trunk, but my burial expenses is paid out of hte money. Item 2. I give and bequeath to David HALL all my goods, all my household furniture, my beds and bed clothing, pots, kettle, and cupboard furniture. Item 3. I give and bequeath unto Margaret HALL, daughter of David HALL all my wearing clothes. This being my last will and testament whereunto i set my hand and seal this 31st day of March in the year of our Lord 1836. Test: Clifton HALL, Charles C.
